How Powder Coating Works
The powder coating process consists of three key phases:

The powder used for painting is made from polymer resins combined with hardeners, pigments, flow agents, and other additives. All of these ingredients are mixed, cooled, and ground. The end result is a homogeneous powder that resembles ordinary flour in appearance.
This mixture is applied to the surface using a spray gun (atomizer); the process itself is called electrostatic spraying. As they pass through the gun, the powder particles become electrically charged and firmly "stick" to the object to be painted (metal, which has the opposite charge). It's also worth mentioning that the surface must be prepared, degreased, and chemically treated before painting.
After applying the powder coating, the product is placed in a special polymerization chamber (oven), where the particles melt under the influence of high temperatures directly onto the object to be painted.
